Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with 4-5+ years of hands-on experience and strong expertise in AWS and Terraform to manage and support cloud-based applications. The role involves creating monitoring solutions, managing infrastructure as code, and supporting serverless applications to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for applications hosted on AWS.
Develop, maintain and optimize reusable Terraform modules to automate AWS cloud infrastructure monitoring using HashiCorp Configuration Language.
Create and maintain CloudWatch alarms, dashboards, and alerts for application health monitoring.
Implement Terraform workspaces, state management, and backend configuration.
Automate production monitoring and efficiently troubleshoot production issues.
Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.
Work closely with development and DevOps teams to improve system reliability.
Required Skills
Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
Hands-on experience with Terraform HCL (Infrastructure as Code).
Experience in creating CloudWatch alarms and dashboards with Terraform.
Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and log analysis.
Experience with integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Splunk or other monitoring tools.
Knowledge of Apigee or API gateways.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and API monitoring.
