AWS DevOps (IAC, Data Platform, Databricks, Snowflake)

Title: DevOps / AWS Data Platform Engineer

Duration: FTE with CBS Inc

Location: Dahisar West, Mumbai City, Maharashtra, India - 400068

We are looking for an offshore DevOps Engineer with strong AWS data platform experience to support infrastructure, monitoring, automation, backup/recovery, and managed-service operations.

This role will work closely with onshore leadership to maintain reliable infrastructure for Databricks, Snowflake, Aurora, S3, DBT, and supporting systems.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code for AWS data platform components.

Support monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational dashboards.

Assist with environment management, access controls, and release coordination.

Validate backup and recovery readiness across Aurora, S3, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Help execute restore tests and document RPO/RTO gaps.

Support security best practices, least-privilege access, and SOC 2 readiness.

Coordinate with data engineers during incidents, releases, and stabilization work.

Required skills:

4+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering.

Strong AWS experience, especially S3, RDS/Aurora, IAM, monitoring, and networking basics.

Terraform or equivalent IaC experience.

Experience supporting Databricks, Snowflake, or modern data platforms.

Comfortable with incident response, change windows, runbooks, and production support.

Nice to have:

PagerDuty, GitHub Actions, DBT deployment workflows, cross-region recovery, Snowflake failover concepts, Databricks workspace automation.
