Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the development and operations lifecycle. In this role, you will focus on automating processes, improving system reliability, and enhancing deployment efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and scripting—particularly in Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline deployment processes
- Implement containerization using Docker and manage orchestration through Kubernetes
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and ensure high availability and reliability
- Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps best practices
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, primarily AWS
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or other scripting languages
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Use configuration management tools such as Ansible for provisioning and automation
- Set up and manage monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or similar solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure is an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
