AWS Data Engineer with Redshift

Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS technologies. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various teams to deliver actionable insights from data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Redshift.
• Implement data ingestion strategies and ensure data quality across various data sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver optimized data solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Optimize database and ETL processes for improved efficiency and lower costs.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles, preferably with AWS.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, RDS, and Athena.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala for data manipulation and scripting.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
