AWS Cloud Operations Specialist

12-Month Contract

Remote (you must reside in India)

I am looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Operations Specialist to join a global manufacturing organisation, to support the ongoing operation, optimisation, and reliability of AWS cloud environments within a large-scale enterprise platform.

You will be working closely with global engineering and architecture teams to ensure AWS environments remain secure, efficient, and aligned with best practice.

The Role:

As part of the cloud operations team, you will help manage and optimise AWS infrastructure supporting critical applications and services. You will play a key role in maintaining operational stability, improving cloud performance, and ensuring solutions align with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the operation and management of AWS cloud environments
• Manage and optimise services including AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, and AWS Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Ensure environments align with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Monitor and improve cloud performance, reliability, and scalability
• Identify and implement cost and performance optimisation opportunities
• Troubleshoot incidents and support production cloud environments
• Work collaboratively with global engineering and architecture teams
• Contribute to operational improvements and cloud best practices

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong experience working with AWS cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with:
• AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)
• AWS Lambda
• AWS Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Experience operating and supporting production AWS environments
• Understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Experience with cloud optimisation, performance tuning, and reliability engineering
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed global team

Desirable:

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional)
• Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with cost optimisation within AWS
