Expected Education & skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (Engineering degree in ECE, EEE, Mech, CS or Equivalent)
Experience: Proven experience in software/solution architecture, IoT, cloud computing, and full-lifecycle
solution deployment.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure,
GCP), microservices, DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes), API development, and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
Programming: Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, or C++.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
Certification Requirements: Microsoft Azure, AWS, TOGAF, PMP
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design: Architect scalable, secure, and reliable end-to-end IoT solutions, from device to
cloud, including edge computing components.
Requirements & Strategy: Analyze business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and define
architecture, capturing non-functional requirements (security, performance).
Technology Leadership: Evaluate and select appropriate IoT platforms, tools, protocols (MQTT, CoAP),
cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and programming languages (Python, Java, C++).
Integration & Development: Guide development teams, ensure seamless integration with existing systems, and provide technical governance.
Security & Performance: Design robust security protocols and processes, and develop tools to monitor system performance and data accuracy.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between customers, engineering, and support teams, articulating the solution vision.
Documentation & Best Practices: Create detailed technical documentation and build reusable frameworks and methodologies.
Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging IoT trends, new technologies, and industry best practices
