AWS Architect

AMK Group is seeking an experienced and highly skilled AWS Architect to join our dynamic team. This is a rewarding career opportunity where you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical expertise to architect cloud solutions that align perfectly with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions on the AWS platform. Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural diagrams, documentation, and best practices.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Provision, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure using a wide range of services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and others. Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Security and Compliance: Implement robust security best practices in AWS environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security. Ensure strict compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize AWS resources for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance. Conduct regular assessments and implement improvements to continuously enhance system performance.
• Migration and Integration: Lead the migration of on-premises systems to AWS, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. Integrate AWS services seamlessly with existing systems and applications.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement effective monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address issues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, collaborating with support teams as needed.
• Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders. Provide expert technical guidance and support to teams utilizing AWS services.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an AWS Architect or in a similar senior cloud architect role.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable solutions on the AWS platform.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and others.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Solid understanding and practical application of AWS security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with performance optimization of AWS resources for cost, scalability, and performance.
• Proven track record in leading migration efforts from on-premises to AWS.
• Experience with monitoring solutions and troubleshooting complex cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse teams.
