Brief Description
Summary/Objective
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure / AWS Administrator to manage on-prem and cloud infrastructure, support development teams, and ensure compliance with BSI and financial industry standards.
What You Will Do
Infrastructure & Systems Management- Administer and maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure including:
- Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Dell switches and network equipment
- Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, etc.)
- Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, capacity, and availability.
- Maintain patching, updates, and lifecycle management of infrastructure components.
AWS Cloud Administration
- Manage AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, and related infrastructure components.
- Implement secure and scalable cloud architectures following AWS best practices.
- Support hybrid infrastructure environments and cloud migrations.
Project & Development Support
- Collaborate directly with software development teams to design and implement infrastructure for new applications and services.
- Provide expertise in CI/CD, containerization, and automation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible).
- Assist with planning, deploying, and supporting new and existing infrastructure projects.
Security, Compliance & Governance- Ensure all infrastructure deployments adhere to:
- Financial industry compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Partner with the Security team to implement security hardening, monitoring, and incident-response processes.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and compliance requirements.
Operational Support
- Provide support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
- Maintain and document runbooks, architecture diagrams, and recovery procedures.
What We Are Looking For
- 36 years of experience in Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or Cloud Engineering. (Terraform preferred)
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Palo Alto Networks firewalls (policies, NAT, VPNs)
- Dell network switches (L2/L3 configuration, VLANs, routing)
- Windows Server & Active Directory
- Linux server administration
- Proficiency with AWS services and cloud architecture fundamentals.
- Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements (GDPR, NIST 800-53 and other financial-industry standards).
