Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
  • Troubleshoot hardware and operating system-related issues for IBM, HP, and Dell servers
  • Maintain print environments and resolve server-related incidents
  • Install and configure middleware software based on client requirements
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve general server issues
  • Manage storage solutions including RAID, SAN, NAS, and disks
  • Perform Windows Clustering, deployment (RIS, WDS), and virtualization tasks (Virtual PC, Virtual Server, Hyper-V)
  • Troubleshoot blue screens, registry issues, and other OS-level problems
  • Develop and execute PowerShell and VB scripts for automation and management
  • Follow best practice security controls and ensure compliance during audits
  • Communicate issue status and provide timely follow-up according to defined SLAs
