Job Description

As an AVP/VP in the investments team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to -

  • Lead the origination, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities in the private equity space.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the fund's goals.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessments for potential investments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, entrepreneurs, and industry partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in fundraising activities and contribute to the firm's overall growth strategy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP/VP - Investments should have:

  • Experience required - Prior experience of 7-10 years in private equity, growth venture capital or investment banking
  • Educational Qualification - Has completed their education from a Tier-1 institute
  • Sector exposure - Financial Services or any related sector
  • Experience of managing multiple transactions end-to-end from sourcing, execution and exits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders effectively
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to identifying and executing investment opportunities
