High-impact Deputy CFO role managing end to end finance

Job Description

Lead financial controllership including accounting, reporting, audit, tax, and compliance
Partner with the CFO and leadership team on strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks
Drive working capital optimisation, cash flow management, and cost efficiencies
Oversee statutory, regulatory, and board-level financial reporting
Lead finance transformation initiatives including systems, processes, and automation
Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing finance team
Act as a key finance spokesperson in cross-functional and leadership forums

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Controller-ME should have:

CA, with 15+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles
Strong background in manufacturing, industrial, or asset-intensive sectors
Proven expertise in controllership, audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance
Strategic mindset with ability to partner senior leadership and influence decisions
Experience working closely with boards, auditors, and external stakeholders
Hands-on leader with strong people management and transformation capability
Prior exposure to CFO-1 or deputy CFO responsibilities preferred
