Job Description

  • Lead Deal Underwriting & Execution - Oversee full underwriting and financial modelling for major projects, drive due diligence workstreams (legal, technical, commercial, ESG), Structure transactions, review term sheets, and coordinate with advisors, Prepare and present investment proposals
  • Market Strategy & Origination Support - Provide market insights to guide sector strategy in India, evaluate new partnerships, platforms, and investment theses, identify emerging risks/regulatory changes affecting deal pipeline.
  • Project Oversight & Governance - Provide senior-level monitoring of development and operating assets, Lead construction progress reviews, cost control, variation assessments, escalate material project risks to stakeholders with recommended mitigation actions, ensure partners comply with reporting, governance, and contractual requirements.
  • Partner & Stakeholder Management - Own day-to-day senior engagement with local JV partners, developers, and operators, Influence partner decision-making to protect the company's financial and operational interests, Coordinate communication with Singapore and Tokyo Regional Leads, and internal risk, finance, and operations teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and technological advancements in treasury management. Identify opportunities to enhance treasury processes, systems, and controls, driving efficiency, accuracy, and automation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is usually required. Some organizations may prefer candidates with advanced degrees such as an MBA or a master's degree in finance. Domain
  • Experience: 7+ years in investments, project finance, development management, or infrastructure/real estate asset management.
