Assistant Vice President - Project Execution
Position Summary
Responsible for planning and execution of Project within budget cost and time in accordance with norms/regulations; Provide guidance/suggest corrective actions to the respective team for operational excellence
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Lead profitable, on-time and within budget execution of a portfolio of power transmission projects spanning several states and across customer segments comprising EPC and PPP projects
- Direct, Develop and Build capabilities for the Projects Organization across specialized capabilities related to Project Management, Execution, Front Creation (Regulatory/ROW /Forest clearances), Quality/Safety/Health & Environment and Contracting.
- Develop and recommend project execution plan/schedule and deviations from approved plans. Provide guidance/ suggest corrective actions to Site Teams whenever challenges arise.
- Developing a team of project leaders capable of executing projects involving ROW and statutory clearances complexities
- Proactively identify potential problems and develop/ execute mitigation plans
- Building a culture of adherence to the international best practices relating to quality, safely, environment and health issues.
