Business Descriptor

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the [Customer Propositions] team.

Principal Responsibilities

  • The incumbent will be responsible for building and implementing the acquisition strategy for Premier.
  • The role holder is required to support & manage initiatives that contribute to the Premier proposition achieving optimal returns, whilst representing the customer voice at the heart of the offering, utilizing external benchmarking and customer insights and research.
  • Drive acquisitions for Premier by creating enablers through a robust sales funnel and effective collaboration with Corporate and Institution Banking (CIB) teams and partners. Moreover, the incumbent should track performance across key parameters, focus on top customer journeys for Premier to ensure that the proposition is relevant and addresses the highest impact areas from a customer experience perspective
  • The role holder will be responsible for driving quality of acquisitions across channels and ensure timely reports/dashboards/ campaigns to exceed targets
  • Engage with Premier RMs through regular cadence to drive segment acquisition imperatives and extend central support for target fulfillment.
  • Work closely with Analytics, and Product teams, to build a compelling customer life cycle management framework for Premier that drives early digital adoption, cross-sell, product activation with an aim to set customers on the path to use HSBC Premier as the primary institution for their banking needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop sales enablersnsuch as pitchbooks, brochures, elevator pitches for frontline teams to aid them in new customer acquisition and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Adopt a data and customer insights led approach to create a world class experience for the target group tracked through NPS for the segment
  • Ensuring that all aspects of the propositions comply with local regulations, HSBC group policies and internal procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences. Strong presentation skills required.
  • Ability to think out of the box and be confident to influence and engage people across all levels and teams
  • Ability to interpret diverse management information and use effectively to tell a customer focused story
  • Skills of building effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and ability to work in cross-functional teams
