Hiring: AVP, People Operations

Location: Bengaluru

Work Mode: Hybrid

Role Overview

The AVP, People Operations will lead all aspects of People Operations, including HR technology, process optimization, payroll governance, benefits administration, compliance, and analytics. This is a key leadership role driving operational excellence across the People & Culture function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People Operations team
  • Manage partnerships with PEOs, payroll vendors, and HR service providers
  • Oversee process efficiency, workflow allocation, and operational metrics
  • Lead payroll administration and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and oversee onboarding, cross-boarding, and offboarding processes
  • Own HR compliance reporting and related governance
  • Administer and optimize P&C systems, ATS, payroll, time & attendance, performance management
  • Drive reporting, analytics, and insights across headcount, turnover, recruiting, and compliance
  • Support Total Rewards in benefits design and manage annual compliance reporting
  • Assist onboarding of new portfolio companies onto HR systems and platforms

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • 1012 years of HR operations experience
  • 5+ years managing high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience implementing and maintaining HR technology platforms
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of employment, wage & hour, and labor laws
  • Experience in shared services or outsourced HR environments preferred
