Hiring: AVP, People Operations

Role Overview
The AVP, People Operations will lead all aspects of People Operations, including HR technology, process optimization, payroll governance, benefits administration, compliance, and analytics. This is a key leadership role driving operational excellence across the People & Culture function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People Operations team
- Manage partnerships with PEOs, payroll vendors, and HR service providers
- Oversee process efficiency, workflow allocation, and operational metrics
- Lead payroll administration and identify opportunities for improvement
- Design and oversee onboarding, cross-boarding, and offboarding processes
- Own HR compliance reporting and related governance
- Administer and optimize P&C systems, ATS, payroll, time & attendance, performance management
- Drive reporting, analytics, and insights across headcount, turnover, recruiting, and compliance
- Support Total Rewards in benefits design and manage annual compliance reporting
- Assist onboarding of new portfolio companies onto HR systems and platforms
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- 1012 years of HR operations experience
- 5+ years managing high-performing teams
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Experience implementing and maintaining HR technology platforms
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of employment, wage & hour, and labor laws
- Experience in shared services or outsourced HR environments preferred
