Overview
The Director of People Operations & Community Engagement leads InRhythm's full people strategy, driving consultant performance, client success, and a thriving company culture. This role oversees all aspects of the employee journey, from onboarding to engagement, growth, and retention, while ensuring global compliance and a strong total-rewards approach.
This leader manages a small, high-performing team (HR & Ops Manager, People Ops Generalist, and Community & Brand Manager), improves HR systems and automation, and builds an employer brand and consultant community that strengthens InRhythm's market reputation. The ideal candidate is proactive, data-driven, and passionate about building a people-first, performance-focused culture in a fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Culture & Leadership
- Set People & Culture goals that align with business and revenue objectives.
- Build leadership pipelines, identify successors, and support high-potential consultants.
- Track and report on culture health, people metrics, and engagement to the CEO and leadership team.
- Promote transparency, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with leadership to maintain Best Place to Work standards across the company.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Design and manage onboarding programs (US & India) with clear success metrics.
- Lead eNPS and engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale.
- Oversee performance management processescompetency models, reviews, and rewards.
- Use surveys and data to strengthen engagement and reduce turnover.
Total Rewards & Compliance
- Define and manage compensation structures, bonuses, equity, and benefits that balance attraction and profitability.
- Lead annual compensation reviews, vendor negotiations, and pay equity analysis.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations in all operating regions.
- Partner with Legal and Finance to manage employment risks and audits.
HR Technology & Analytics
- Set the roadmap for HR systems, automation, and analytics.
- Implement tools that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and employee self-service.
- Deliver dashboards and insights that inform workforce planning and performance.
- Use predictive analytics to forecast talent needs and support business strategy.
Employer Brand & Community
- Lead InRhythm's employer brand and content strategy to strengthen market presence.
- Grow and manage the Consultant Community Platformlearning, recognition, and mentorship.
- Partner with the CEO and Marketing to position InRhythm as a Best Place to Work.
- Share success stories and thought leadership to attract top talent and clients.
Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (SHRM certification preferred).
- 812+ years of HR or People Operations experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
- 3+ years in a senior HR leadership role managing teams.
- Experience in IT consulting or professional services required.
- Proven success in scaling HR processes, improving retention, and driving engagement.
- Strong leadership, accountability, and communication skills.
- Expertise in HR systems, automation, and analytics.
- Knowledge of compensation strategy and benefits optimization.
- Experience with employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
