Key responsibilities

Owning and strengthening the operational risk framework for RIS, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies, regulatory expectations, and business strategy.
Leading operational risk assessments (RCSAs), scenario analysis, stress testing, and tracking KRIs, incidents, losses, and remediation plans.
Partnering closely with Enterprise Risk, business leaders in India & the US, and global stakeholders to proactively identify and manage risks.
Driving risk governance activities include audits, regulatory exams, BCP/BIA reviews, and periodic RTO/RPO assessments.
Building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing operations risk team while fostering a strong and inclusive risk culture.

Role requirements

10+ years of experience in BFSI IT/ITeS, with deep expertise (8+ years) in operational risk, internal audit, or compliance within financial services.
Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks, methodologies, controls, and regulatory standards exposure to the US retirements industry is a plus.
Proven experience working across global, matrixed organizations and influencing senior stakeholders across geographies.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive complex risk initiatives end-to-end.
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills, with a leadership style aligned to strong ethics, inclusion, and Principal's core values.
