Role: AVP/ Manager - Insurance & Risk (APAC & India)

Role Context:
We are seeking an experienced Insurance & Risk professional to support and strengthen our regional risk management and insurance governance framework across Asia Pacific and India.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in general insurance, risk advisory, and enterprise client servicing, who are keen to move into a corporate-side, advisory-led risk function with regional exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination with local and regional insurance brokers to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.
- Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support on insurance and risk management matters to internal stakeholders across the organization.
- Support the development, placement, and optimization of insurance programs at local, regional, and global levels.
- Manage insurance claims reporting, escalation, and resolution, working closely with brokers and internal teams.
- Maintain oversight of insurance documentation, e-policies, valuations, invoicing, and billing processes.
- Assist in preparing materials for insurance-related presentations, trainings, and risk awareness sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and insurance brokers to support insurance matters related to new acquisitions, asset additions, and dispositions.
- Support initiatives related to the design and implementation of captive insurance structures in the Asia Pacific region, when required.
Skills & Experience:
- 5-8+ years of experience in the risk management / general insurance domain, either in an advisory, broking, insurer, or corporate risk environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance and financial lines (D&O, Cyber, Crime).
- Hands-on exposure to enterprise insurance programs, large corporate accounts, and complex risk structures.
- Experience supporting regional or global insurance programs is a strong advantage.
- Proven exposure to claims management, insurance documentation, and policy administration in a structured environment.
- Professional insurance qualifications such as ACII, DGIRM / ADGIRM, or progress toward such certifications, are preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior and CXO-level stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry is desirable but not mandatory.
