We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of
Assistant vice President - Lead Analytics Engineer
In This Role, You Will
- Build and enhance QlickSense dashboards to deliver actionable insights for procurement stakeholders.
- Write and optimize SQL queries on BigQuery for complex analytical needs.
- Create rapid prototypes and POCs to address urgent business requirements.
- Design and support data workflows across ETL, DWH, and BI layers.
- Collaborate with IT/Data Engineering teams on data pipeline architecture for procurement datasets.And c ontribute to solution design reviews and propose architecture improvements.
- Automate recurring reporting and data preparation processes.Also, Apply modular coding practices and documentation for reusability.
- Drive technical innovation in reporting/analytics.
- Partner with governance teams to ensure compliance with data management standards.
- Use Python (pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib) for exploratory data analysis and automation.
- Build small-scale ML models (classification, regression, clustering) as POCs where relevant.
To Be Successful, You Will
- 815 years of experience in data analytics, BI, and data engineering.
- Strong expertise in QlikSense dashboarding and advanced SQL/BigQuery skills.
- Solid understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Experience in data governance and quality frameworks.
- Proven track record in automation and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on experience in Python for automation and analytics.
- Knowledge of traditional ML models.
- Exposure to procurement/sourcing or financial data domains.
- Experience in global matrix organizations.
