Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Business:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance process efficiency and implement required changes.
  • Identify and address process gaps, spearhead change projects and remediation activities.
  • Drive automation and streamline credit processes, focusing on straight-through workflows and digitized controls.
  • Support risk impact evaluations and remediation efforts for credit strategies and projects.
  • Ensure uniform adoption of global processes and manage regulatory and audit requests.

Processes & Risk Management:

  • Monitor RCSA compliance and manage CST/KCI exception trends to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support process execution teams for efficiency and capacity enhancements.
  • Drive improvements in the credit origination processes while ensuring compliance with risk frameworks and policies.
  • Identify non-standard processes and implement control mechanisms in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Support credit transformation initiatives and ensure effective implementation of policies and risk controls.

People & Talent:

  • Support the implementation of hybrid working arrangements and role-model good conduct.
  • Foster a culture of compliance, ethics, and performance across teams.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Identify and document risk impacts for relevant forums and committees.
  • Manage remediation activities and ensure continuous improvement of the control framework.
  • Oversee assurance checks (CSTs/KCIs) for standardization and provide continuous training to teams.

Regulatory & Business Conduct:

  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics and business conduct, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risk and compliance issues.

Skills & Experience:

  • Process Management & Improvement: Experience in optimizing processes, especially in credit origination.
  • Operational Risk: Strong understanding of operational risks and hands-on experience in resolving them.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive change across teams.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of Credit Origination: Deep understanding of credit-related processes, policies, and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent).
  • Languages: Proficient in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
