Work closely with the clients in supporting them through various stages in the life cycle of an investment transaction across various credit and alternative asset classes - loan portfolios, securitisations and other structured credit products, specialty financing and real estate.
. Create and review flexible, transparent financial models for periodic third-party valuations for alternative investment firms. This includes developing models from scratch and running sensitivities and scenarios.
. Take the lead in designing valuation approaches for new asset types and contribute to enhancing
the firm's valuations platform for private markets.
. Present the valuation outputs (either on Excel or set-up on Oxane's valuation platform) to clients, investors and auditors on calls.
. Mentor junior team members, conduct technical training, and oversee smaller teams to ensure timely project completion.
. Provide support for asset management reporting, post-deal analysis and business planning and any ad-hoc analytics for portfolio monitoring, surveillance, and reporting.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an MBA from an accredited institution, certifications like CFA, FRM, CAIA are a plus.
. Understanding of securitisations, prepayments, defaults, and various capital structures and payment waterfalls.
. Strong proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel python knowledge is a plus.
. Familiarity with valuations in private markets.
. Ability to work independently and manage smaller groups to ensure timely project completion.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments under pressure to meet deadlines.
