AVP - Communications

Eligibility Criteria:

• Please note the budget for this position is maximum up to 45-50 LPA, candidates above that or having more expectations than this, kindly do not apply

• Eligibility is limited to candidates who have graduated from Tier 1 colleges only

Marketing & Brand Storytelling

• Shape and own marketing strategy across digital, social, and offline channels within the venture capital / startup ecosystem.

• Create campaigns that showcase investment thesis, portfolio wins, and ecosystem insights.

• Produce compelling content — from blog posts and newsletters to high-impact investor stories.

• Build and nurture relationships with media, journalists, and influencers in the startup ecosystem.

• Ensure branding is fresh, consistent, and memorable across all touchpoints.

Strategic Partnerships

• Spot and seize partnership opportunities with accelerators, incubators, corporates, government institutions, and universities within the startup and VC ecosystem.

• Create win–win collaborations that bring value to founders, investors, and the broader ecosystem.

• Support portfolio companies by connecting them with networks, markets, and resources to scale faster.

• Track and measure partnership outcomes to ensure relevance and impact.

Events & Ecosystem Engagement

• Design and manage events such as founder mixers, investor panels, demo days, and roundtables.

• Enable leadership participation at key industry conferences and forums.

• Build and engage communities to exchange ideas, foster innovation, and unlock opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• MBA from a top 10 college.

• 8–12 years of experience in marketing, communications, ecosystem building, or partnerships, preferably within venture capital, startups, or technology.

• Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem with an existing professional network.

• Proven experience in building brand presence and long-term relationships.

• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
