Role Overview :
We are looking for a highly skilled SDET / Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Selenium to join our engineering team. This role is suited for pure automation professionals with a strong engineering mindset and hands-on experience in building scalable automation frameworks. Candidates from product-based organizations with a strong automation culture will be preferred. Preference will also be given to candidates currently based in or having prior work experience in the Delhi NCR / North India region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications and backend systems
- Perform database testing by writing and executing complex SQL queries to validate data integrity
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, analyze, and report defects with clear reproduction steps
- Debug frontend and backend issues in collaboration with development teams
- Ensure high-quality test coverage and continuous improvement of automation processes
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills :
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Strong expertise in database testing using SQL
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar
- Hands-on experience with TestNG or JUnit
- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across UI and backend layers
Process & Methodology
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Strong understanding of test automation best practices and test lifecycle
