Job Description

The purpose of the Audio Visual officer role within the Sistema.bio communications team is to effectively plan, execute, and deliver high-quality audiovisual content that promotes the organizations mission and activities .


You ll be in charge of:


  • Planning, coordinating, and executing audiovisual projects, including video recordings, podcasts, webinars, photo shoots, physical and virtual events
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to produce audiovisual content that aligns with brand guidelines and communication objectives
  • Coordinating with production house, photographers, and videographers and conducting photo, video, and audio post-production tasks, including editing it as per various platforms
  • Creating multimedia content for social media channels, websites, and other digital platforms.
  • Managing audiovisual assets and maintaining an organized library of footage, audio files, photos, and graphics
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in audiovisual production, making recommendations for equipment upgrades and software tools
  • Ensuring compliance with copyright regulations and obtaining necessary permissions for the use of licensed materials


More about YOU:

Education: Postgraduate/ Bachelors degree in a relevant field, such as communications, media production, film studies, or a related discipline.


Key Experiences Skills:

  • You have 0- 2 years of professional experience in audiovisual production, preferably in a communications or marketing environment.
  • You are proficient in operating audiovisual equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and recording devices.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication in English
  • You have basic knowledge of video and audio editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • You have an understanding of audiovisual techniques, composition, and storytelling principles.
  • You have creative thinking and problem-solving skills to produce engaging audiovisual content within budgetary constraints.
  • You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final output.


[Nice to have]

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
  • You have basic knowledge of graphic design Adobe Suite software ( Canvas, Photoshop and illustrator) to create visual elements for videos and presentations.
