About the Role

VEGA Global is seeking an experienced AV Event Support Manager (Event Production Management & Support) to lead end-to-end audio-visual production for corporate events, town halls, hybrid meetings, and live productions. The ideal candidate will coordinate technical pipelines, manage vendor relationships, and ensure flawless event execution with a focus on quality, innovation, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production Planning

  • Conduct venue assessments and understand event objectives (in-person, hybrid, global)
  • Develop AV scope documents, equipment lists (BoQ), and technical drawings
  • Create signal flow diagrams, risk assessment plans, and budget estimations
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (CEO, HR, Marketing, IT, venue partners)

Technical Coordination

  • Manage Video Pipeline: cameras, vision mixers, LED walls, projectors, graphics, streaming encoders
  • Oversee Audio Pipeline: microphones, DSP, mixers, amplifiers, speakers, feedback prevention
  • Execute Hybrid/Streaming Pipeline: encoders, internet bandwidth management, platform integration (Zoom, Teams, YouTube Live)
  • Ensure redundancy planning (backup equipment, secondary ISP, UPS systems)

Event Execution

  • Lead on-site teams: show caller, video director, audio engineer, lighting operator, streaming technician
  • Manage run-of-show: speaker transitions, video roll-ins, graphics, countdown timers
  • Conduct pre-event sound checks, camera framing, slide previews, streaming tests
  • Monitor audio levels, streaming health, and time management during live events

Vendor and Budget Management

  • Coordinate with rental vendors, production houses, LED suppliers, staging companies
  • Compare quotations, conduct technical alignment meetings, and validate invoices
  • Schedule load-in/load-out and ensure equipment quality standards

Post-Event Activities

  • Supervise de-rigging and equipment return
  • Collect recordings and prepare post-event reports
  • Close vendor payments and document lessons learned

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of AV signal flow, video switching, and audio fundamentals
  • Knowledge of streaming workflows and basic networking concepts
  • Experience with PTZ cameras, vision mixers, DSPs, and live production equipment
  • Familiarity with hybrid event platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, streaming encoders)

Soft Skills

  • Crisis management and problem-solving under pressure
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor negotiation
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Calm, composed demeanor during high-stakes live events

Experience

  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience managing AV events (town halls, corporate events, hybrid productions)
  • Proven track record of executing large-scale events with hybrid/streaming components
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors
