AV Design Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing pre-sales support, creating effective AV solutions, and collaborating closely with clients to meet their audiovisual needs.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Support:

Engage with clients to understand their AV requirements and objectives. Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase, offering insights into AV solutions.

Solution Design:

Design comprehensive AV solutions based on client specifications and industry best practices.Create detailed AV system schematics, diagrams, and documentation.

Client Collaboration:

Work closely with clients to present and explain proposed AV designs, addressing any inquiries or concerns.Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Product Knowledge:

Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and products. Collaborate with vendors to understand product features and capabilities.

Collaboration with Sales Teams:

Partner with sales teams to develop proposals and presentations for clients.Assist in preparing accurate and competitive project bids.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks on AV solutions.Ensure that designed solutions meet both client requirements and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in AV pre-sales support and design engineering.
  
• Proficient in using AV design software and tools.
  
• Strong understanding of audiovisual technologies, signal flow, and integration.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  

Preferred Skills :

• Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D (InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist - Design) are a plus.
  
• Familiarity with control systems (Crestron, AMX) and video conferencing solutions.
  
• Project management skills for coordinating AV installations.
