Role Description
This full-time on-site role, located in Erode, is for an Autosys and MoveIT Specialist. The role involves managing and maintaining automated scheduling software, specifically Autosys and MoveIT. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and monitoring automation workflows, troubleshooting issues, optimizing job performance, ensuring secure file transmissions, and collaborating with teams to meet technical and business objectives. Additionally, you will need to uphold best practices for system performance and data security while providing support to stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Autosys job scheduling and MoveIT Managed File Transfer solutions
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving system and application issues
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools, such as Shell scripting or PowerShell
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and system operation, including Windows and Unix platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize automation workflows
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Industry certifications in Autosys, MoveIT, or relevant technologies are a plus
