Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Firmware Engineer to join our Autopilot development team. In this role, you will work onautopilot stack to develop, test, and optimize flight control and embedded software for eVTOLs. You will contribute to flight feature development, bug fixes, and integration with onboard sensors and companion computers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, debug, and maintain the autopilot firmware modules using C/C++
• Implement and test new flight control features for multirotors andfixed-wing aircraft
• Integrate sensors such as IMUs, GPS, LiDAR, and cameras into the flight stack
• Conduct ground and flight tests to validate software changes
• Collaborate with flight test engineers and hardware teams on system integration
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to open-source development when applicable
• Document firmware design updates and maintain configuration files

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded environments
• Familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, and related UAV software ecosystems
• Basic understanding of flight dynamics, control systems, or robotics principles
• Experience with Linux-based development workflows and version control (Git)
• Knowledge of RTOS concepts and microcontroller platforms (STM32 or similar)
• Good communication and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or project experience involving UAVs or robotics
• Knowledge of ROS/ROS2 for UAV system integration
• Hands-on experience with flight testing and tuning drone parameters
