Scope of Work & Consultant Responsibilities
The consultants will integrate with our team to handle the day-to-day operations, and user support for the Automic environment. Based on current team needs, their core responsibilities will include (in priority order):
- Coverage and Offloading: A primary goal for these consultants is to rapidly learn client's specific UC4 instance to alleviate the burden on our internal experts.
- Daily Operational Support (RTB): Providing hands-on workflow development and operational support. This includes admin-owned workflow edits, troubleshooting, file transfers, Deaddrop support, and SFTP management.
- Customer & Account Management: Serving as the primary point of contact for internal customers by answering user account and automation questions, specifically managing the slack channels.
- Platform Stabilization and Vendor Escalation Support: Consultant must have sufficient Automic platform familiarity to assist with initial platform stabilization during operational incidents.
- Executing documented recovery procedures
- Restarting affected services or components when appropriate
- Validating agent connectivity and platform health
- Assisting with basic environment recovery steps
- Coordinating with vendor or internal backend support teams when deeper platform expertise is required
- High Availability & Failover: Assisting in the planning and execution of Run-the-business activities such as region failovers for the Automic infrastructure to ensure continuous high availability.
