Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in automation testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Digital, Insurtech, or Fintech industries and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
2. Execute test cases (both manual and automated) and analyze results to identify defects.
3. Report bugs and errors to development teams and assist in troubleshooting issues.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
5. Ensure that test environments are properly maintained and remain fit for purpose for project deliverables.
6. Provide timely updates on project progress to the QA Manager and stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:
Strong experience in automation testing, including proficiency with tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, Appium, and JMeter.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in regression testing.
Proven ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java.
Strong experience in writing automated tests and managing testing activities, including estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing efforts.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with SQL (RDBMS) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases and the ability to query them.
Experience in product development and delivery within an Agile environment.
ISTQB/ISEB or other relevant industry certification in Software Testing is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work under aggressive deadlines and challenge traditional processes to identify automation opportunities.

Qualifications:
BSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) role, with a focus on automation testing.
