Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for various applications within the insurance domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand application functionalities.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing and maintain automated test suites to ensure ongoing software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation best practices.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on automation testing techniques and tools.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing and insurance technology.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Proven experience in the insurance domain, with a deep understanding of insurance products and processes.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
- Relevant certifications in automation testing or quality assurance are a plus.
