Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Engineer – Java with strong experience in test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust automation frameworks, ensuring software quality through end-to-end testing, and supporting Agile delivery practices.

This role requires expertise in Java, Selenium, API automation, and test framework development, along with strong analytical and debugging skills.

This is Fulltime, Remote

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium

· Perform end-to-end API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar

· Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

· Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing

· Identify, log, and track defects to resolution

· Optimize test scripts for performance, reusability, and maintainability

· Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide automation status updates

· Ensure test coverage across functional and regression scenariosMaintain clear documentation for pipelines and data contracts

· Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team collaboration

· Support and mentor junior team members

Required Skills & Experience:

· 3 – 7 Years and Strong proficiency in Core Java for automation scripting

· Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver

· Expertise in API Testing (REST / SOAP)

· Experience with automation using Java/Python libraries

· Familiarity with Git version control

· Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle

· Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail)

· Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)

· Knowledge of Playwright for modern web automation

· Experience with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted coding tools

Preferred Experience :

· Knowledge of cloud testing (AWS / Azure)

· Experience with mobile automation using Appium

· Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter

· Experience integrating automation into DevOps pipelines

Relevant Experience Preferred

· Experience building scalable automation frameworks

· Experience with API automation and CI/CD integration

· Experience in cross-browser and end-to-end automation testing

Qualification:

Any degree relevant to IT or related field
