We are looking for an experienced
Automation Tester with strong expertise in
Java,
Selenium, and modern automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building robust automation suites, working with CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging AI tools to enhance test productivity and quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Create scalable and maintainable test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and supporting tools.
- Work extensively with the Karate Framework for API testing, performance testing (Karate Gatling), and mock services.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, repeatable test execution.
- Use AI-based tools to accelerate automation development, debugging, and test optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios, identify defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Prepare detailed test reports, logs, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6 month2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium.
- Strong hands-on experience with Karate Framework including API, Performance testing using Karate Gatling, Creating and maintaining mocks
- AI enhanced automation skills such as ChatGPT / GitHub Copilot for script creation, refactoring, and debugging , AI-assisted root cause analysis, AI-driven test case generation and script optimization
- Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design efficient test scenarios, and troubleshoot complex automation issues.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
