Automation Tester

Responsibilities:

• UI Functional & Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute robust UI functional and automation test scripts for web applications, ensuring high-quality user interfaces and experiences.
• Automation Framework Expertise: Utilize and apply strong expertise in JavaScript-based automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO, Playwright, and Cypress for efficient and scalable test automation.
• API Automation: Develop and implement API automation tests using tools and libraries like SuperTest, RestAssured, or SOAP UI, ensuring the reliability and performance of backend services.
• Agile Methodology: Work effectively within an Agile development environment, actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure continuous testing and integration.
• Test Script Development: Write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts for various testing phases.
• Defect Reporting & Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating closely with development teams for timely resolution.
• Regression Testing: Ensure comprehensive regression test suites are maintained and executed to prevent regressions with new feature development and bug fixes.
• Test Strategy & Planning: Contribute to test strategy, planning, and estimation activities, providing insights on automation feasibility and scope.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java Script.
• Expertise in WebDriverIO, Playwright, and Cypress.
• Strong in UI functional and automation testing.
• Proficiency in API Automation using tools/libraries such as SuperTest, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of Mobile Testing.
