Job Title: Consultant – Automation Test Engineer
We have an immediate and urgent requirement for a Python Embedded Engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 6+ Years
Duration: Contract 1 year (extendable)
Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust automation test frameworks using Python for embedded systems.
- Work with and interface PCBs and embedded devices for testing purposes.
- Design and maintain scalable, modular, and secure test scripts following Python best practices.
- Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues across Windows and Linux environments.
- Contribute to version control and configuration management processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in Pytest or similar frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, including handling and interfacing with PCBs.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with version control and configuration tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines, JobDSL scripting, and CI/CD automation.
- Understanding of C/C++ development environments (preferred).
- Experience with tools like DOORS and Pure Variance is a plus.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
