Role: Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
- Design and enhance scalable automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid, or BDD).
- Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application compatibility and stability.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and frameworks like REST Assured (knowledge level acceptable).
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze test results, prepare execution reports, and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Maintain test documentation, automation guidelines, and best practices.
- Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in C# programming with hands-on automation experience.
- Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Experience in automation framework development and maintenance.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with cross-browser testing tools such as Selenium Grid or cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman; basic to intermediate knowledge of REST Assured.
- Good understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Familiarity with build tools and test runners such as NUnit, MSTest, or SpecFlow.
