Job Title: QA Automation Test Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Location: Noida, Mumbai, Ahmedabad

Experience: 7+ yrs

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Prepare detailed Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Data.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and UAT testing.
• Execute test cases and log defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps / TestRail.
• Perform Exploratory Testing to identify edge-case issues.
• Participate in Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues.
• Maintain proper test documentation and traceability matrix (RTM).

Automation Testing Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG or Playwright or BDD cucumber
• Build and maintain Hybrid/POM automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience executing cross-browser tests on cloud platforms such as: Lambda Test / Browser Stack
• Strong understanding of OOPS, design patterns, and clean code principles
• Automate Regression and Smoke test suites.
• Perform API testing using Postman and automate APIs using Rest Assured.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git).
• Perform Parallel execution and cross-browser automation.
• Analyze automation failures and maintain script stability.
• Exposure to Mobile Automation using Appium is a plus.
