Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and API testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing test strategies, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber (BDD)
- Automate test cases for web applications and RESTful APIs using tools such as Rest Assured and Postman
- Develop reusable and maintainable test scripts to improve overall test coverage and efficiency
- Perform API testing, including validation of request/response payloads, status codes, and schema
- Integrate and execute automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous testing
- Execute test suites, analyze test results, and perform root cause analysis for failures and defects
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Participate in requirement analysis and convert user stories into detailed test scenarios and test cases
- Ensure adherence to automation best practices, coding standards, and reporting processes
- Manage test data and maintain stable test environments for consistent execution
