Automation Test Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The Automation Test Engineer will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to enhance our testing processes and improve overall product quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools.
• Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and improve test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of automation practices.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for writing automated tests.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
