About the Role

We are looking for experienced Automation Test Engineers with strong expertise in Playwright and Cucumber BDD frameworks. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in TypeScript-based automation scripting and should come from an Insurance domain background. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Implement and execute Cucumber BDD test scenarios.

• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA leads to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.

• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing through automation.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage and enhance automation frameworks.

• Maintain high standards of quality, documentation, and code practices.

  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.

• Proficiency in TypeScript programming language.

• Experience with Cucumber BDD and writing feature files and step definitions.

• Good understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices.

• Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
