About the Role

Are you a passionate Automation Tester skilled in pure JavaScript, with a keen eye for quality across functional, non-functional, and exploratory domains At Multyfi, we're looking for a talented individual to take ownership of test automation across Web, Mobile (React Native), API, and Performance testing.

In this role, you'll drive automation end-to-enddesigning robust scripts, aligning test strategies with real-world scenarios, and ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop automated tests using JavaScript for:
  • Web UI / E2E (Playwright, Cypress)
  • Mobile (React Native) (Appium)
  • APIs (Postman/Newman or Mocha + Chai)
  • Performance (k6, Artillery)
  • Execute and validate testing across the SDLC:
  • Unit, Smoke, Integration, Regression, End-to-End, Acceptance
  • Perform non-functional testing: performance, load, stress, usability, and security
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge-case bugs
  • Debug using Playwright's trace viewer or Cypress's time-travel tools
  • Leverage k6 or Artillery dashboards to analyze performance bottlenecks
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to define test strategies and contribute to Agile ceremonies
  • Track and report quality metrics such as test coverage, performance baselines, and automation health to deliver actionable insights

  • What You Bring

    • 1+ year of hands-on JavaScript-only automation experience
    • Strong knowledge of:
    • Playwright or Cypress for web testing
    • Appium for React Native mobile testing
    • Postman/Newman or Mocha + Chai for API testing
    • k6 and/or Artillery for performance testing
    • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience handling asynchronous code and modular test design
    • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a passion for maintaining high testing standards

    Preferred (Nice to Have)

    • Familiarity with accessibility, security, or usability testing within automation frameworks

    Location: Gurugram (In-office)

    Work Mode: MondayFriday (9 AM 6 PM), Saturdays WFH
