Job Description

Role: Automation Specialist

CJ is seeking a motivated and skilled Automation Specialist to join its Business Process Automation department. This role is crucial for designing, developing, testing, and implementing automated systems aimed at improving business operations and significantly reducing manual efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a passion for optimizing processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities

As an Automation Specialist, you will:

  • Design and Develop Automation Solutions: Identify areas within the organization that stand to benefit from automation, and subsequently design comprehensive automated systems and processes to address these identified needs.
  • Implement and Test Systems: Integrate new automation systems seamlessly into the organization's existing operations, followed by rigorous testing to ensure they function precisely as expected and meet performance benchmarks.
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain Systems: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues that arise with the automated systems. This includes regularly updating and maintaining them to ensure continuous optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work in close partnership with various internal teams to thoroughly understand their operational needs, and then apply appropriate automation solutions tailored to those specific requirements.
  • Document Processes: Meticulously document all automation processes, including design specifications, implementation details, and operational procedures, for essential future reference and audit purposes.
  • Stay Updated: Continuously monitor and stay current with the latest advancements, emerging technologies, and methodologies within the field of automation.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in an automation role, demonstrating a strong foundational understanding of various automation tools and technologies.
  • Technical Skills:Familiarity with prominent RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools such as UiPath and Automation Anywhere.
  • Experience with Business Process Management Platforms like Zapier, Power Automate, and AWS Glue.
  • Understanding and experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
  • Coding Languages: Hands-on experience in Python, SQL, CSS, and HTML.
  • Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, essential for identifying automation opportunities and resolving technical challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in automation or related technical fields are considered a significant advantage.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • A basic level of proficiency in Java.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and common project management tools.
  • A strong eagerness to explore and actively implement new platforms and workflows, especially those utilizing AI/ML technologies.
