Automation Engineer

1. Project Execution.

•Scheduling of project task as per WBS and assigned resources. Co-ordination with PM/TM/Tech lead of project for faster and better execution.

• Review of off-site development work, functional testing including integration of various hardware/software components.

• Conduct Pre-FAT and FAT.

•Supervision of panel manufacturing, hardware configuration, prepare setup for Internal FAT/Customer FAT.

• Application development on PLC or SCADA platform as per guidance of Lead Engineer / Technical Manager / Project Manager.

• Site execution planning with all required manpower, tools and resources at site. Ensure there is no delay due to non-availability of resources (i.e., tools, additional hardware, software required for installation/commissioning) at site.

• Deployment of solution (hardware/software) at customer site, testing and commissioning of program as an individual or within team.

•

Providing support to customer as an when assigned under guidance of Lead engineer / Technical Manager.

•

Customer Interaction for technical deliverables (TM and PM should always be in loop)

2.Documentation

•Preparing/Approval of project documentation as per requirement i.e., GA Drawing, Wiring Drawing, FAT/SAT procedure, Manuals etc. Updating document.

•Maintaining Project Backup as designated locations.

• Create SOP/Technotes on troubleshooting/maintenance guidelines, site specific configurations.

3. Compliance, Reporting & Training

•Adherence to Reporting process in Timesheet, Meeting requirements of Work, maintaining discipline at workplace and customer site, Maintaining Integrity & confidentiality

•Daily reporting of on-site/Off-site project activity to Lead Engineer /PM/TM.

•Self-Training (Function/Cross Functional) to be Targeted and Achieved ( Online/Off line Certifications)
