Position Overview

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems and solutions for industrial processes and equipment. This role involves close collaboration with project, design, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth integration, efficiency, and performance of automation systems across diverse industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and program PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems for industrial automation.

Work on control system architecture, instrumentation selection, and integration of sensors, actuators, and control devices.

Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites.

Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to develop automation concepts and solutions.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and quality requirements.

Develop detailed documentation including control logic diagrams, wiring layouts, and operational manuals.

Support maintenance and troubleshooting for deployed automation systems.

Evaluate and implement new automation technologies to enhance process efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.

Experience: 26 years in industrial automation, control systems, or related engineering roles.

Technical Expertise:

PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.)

SCADA/HMI development (Wonderware, WinCC, or similar)

Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)

VFDs, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation.

Strong understanding of process control systems and industrial standards.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.

Willingness to travel for project execution and commissioning.
