The company specialises in Slitting Rewinding Machines and Inspection Rewinding/ Doctoring machines and is acknowledged as a market leader and trend setter in these domains.

Role Description

1. PLC Programming & Commissioning

• Develop and modify programs in Siemens TIA Portal using LAD, FBD, and SCL.
• Configure and troubleshoot Siemens servo drives, VFDs, HMI (TP700/1200), and other related hardware.
• Integrate sensors, encoders, and field devices.

 Onsite Installation & Commissioning

• To do installation and commissioning, servicing of machines at Customer site (Domestic/International).
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and other teams involved during setup and trial runs.

Service Support

• Attend breakdowns and resolve machine operational and functional issues.
• Provide remote assistance and technical support to customers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration checks.

Documentation

• Responsible for the maintaining commissioning, testing and Service records and documents in the server including machine program, machine testing and trial records, daily progress report related to testing/ commissioning.
• Update PLC program backups and HMI configurations after each job

Customer Handling

• Hands on experience in customer satisfaction index (feedback and analysis) and retrofitting (potential customers).
• Propose and establish AMC with Key Customers.
• Ensure professional communication and timely resolution of complaints via phone calls, online remote support or onsite visit.

Education:

·       B.Tech /B.E in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering.

Technical Skills:

·       Proficient in Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200/1500) – SCL preferred.

·       Hands-on experience with Siemens servo drives (Sinamics S120/V90) and VFDs (G120).

·       Knowledge of industrial communication protocols: PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus.

·       Understanding of electrical schematics, PLC panel wiring, and safety circuits.

·       Basic knowledge of machine control loops, tension control, and position control.

·       Familiarity with SCADA/HMI screens (WinCC Comfort/Advanced).

Preferred Skill:

·Candidates with 5-6 years of experience in commissioning and testing of machines (Both Automation & Mechanical side) of machines related to the Flexible Packaging and Converting Industry such as Rotogravure Printing, Lamination and Slitting Rewinding machines will be given first preference. Candidates who have had experience in web

handling and ancillary equipment, who wish to progress into the field of machines are also welcome to apply.

·       Ability to collate data and report systematically to management.

·       Good knowledge of MS Office and PPT.

·       Passionate about traveling and networking.

·       Prior experience of working in ERP environment is desirable, though not compulsory.

·       Exposure to motion control and decentralized IOs.

·       Knowledge of electrical standards and safety compliance.

·       Exposure to VFD braking resistors, encoders, load cells, ultrasonic sensors is a plus.
