Your Team, Your Impact

The team is responsible for

Test Automation:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. Build reusable automation frameworks (e.g., using Pytest, unit-test Framework).

CI/CD Integration:
Automate build, deployment, and testing pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions. Ensure smooth integration of automation scripts into CI/CD workflows.

Process Automation:
Automate repetitive manual tasks (e.g., data validation, report generation, environment setup).Create scripts for log analysis, monitoring, and alerting.

Tool Development:
Build custom utilities for QA teams (e.g., test data generators, environment health checkers).

Maintenance & Scalability:
Ensure automation scripts are maintainable, scalable, and version-controlled.
Regularly update scripts for new features and environments.

Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with QA, DevOps, and development teams.
Document automation processes, frameworks, and best practices.

What You Can Expect

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Python.

  • Automate manual, repetitive, and regression test cases to improve efficiency and

  • accuracy.

  • Create robust, reusable, and scalable automation frameworks.

  • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI,

  • etc.)

  • Identify, log, and track defects and issues using defect tracking tools.

  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure quality delivery.

  • Perform code reviews and maintain automation best practices.

  • Maintain test scripts during application upgrades and enhancements.

  • Generate automation test reports and dashboards.

  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, security, and performance guidelines.

  • Continuously improve automation coverage and execution speed.

What We're Looking For

  • The Marvell team is looking to hire a highly skilled Python Automation Engineer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and tools.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering robust automation solutions for software testing and process optimization

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-12 years of related professional experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.

  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Py-Test/Unit-Test, Robot Framework)

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.

  • Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
