Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems.
- Design and build robust automation frameworks from scratch (UI, API, and integration level).
- Collaborate with the product, development, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and smoke testing through automation.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify bugs, analyze root causes, and verify fixes.
- Ensure automation coverage across all critical product flows.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with QA standards.
- Continuously improve automation processes for efficiency and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 25 years of experience in automation testing + code.
- Strong proficiency in at least one automation framework ( Playwright, Appium, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools.
- Strong programming skills in Typescript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Exposure to security testing concepts.
