Job Description

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of test automation frameworks with Java and Kotlin .
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for iOS and Android platforms using Appium .
  • Build and execute Cucumber scenarios to ensure comprehensive behaviour-driven testing coverage.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of automation tests in Gradle build pipelines.
  • Test and validate both native and WebView applications, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Work with nested iframes and resolve automation challenges for web apps involving complex structures.
  • Utilize image recognition technologies like OpenCV or GPT-4 Vision for advanced automation scenarios.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and test results, ensuring continuous quality improvements.
  • Provide input on automation strategies and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide a team of automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that automation efforts support overall product quality and delivery timelines.
  • Drive innovation in test automation practices, staying ahead of industry trends and integrating new tools and technologies as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

Qualification

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in Test automation within a software development environment
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning, analyzing technology tradeoffs
  • Extensive experience in Java (must) and a strong background in test automation architecture.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Kotlin .
  • Deep expertise in using Appium for automating both iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Strong understanding of native and WebView application architecture.
  • Knowledge of Cucumber for behaviour-driven development (BDD).
  • Skilled in handling complex web structures, including nested iframes , and resolving related automation challenges.
  • Advanced knowledge of image recognition tools like OpenCV and familiarity with AI-driven visual tools such as GPT-4 Vision .
  • Hands-on experience with Gradle for build and dependency management.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor teams and drive strategic automation initiatives.
