Software Development Engineer in Test

Description and Requirements

We are looking for SDET - II who can ensure the quality of our product through manual and automation testing.His/ her main responsibility is to ensure high-quality products through his/ her software testing. He/she should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an understanding of software development and testing processes, excellent communication skills, and an eye for detail. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Web and API automation using Cypress and Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Implement and enhance test suites using Selenium and RestAssured with Java.
• Build and execute automated mobile tests using Appium for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Database testing using SQL & NoSQL like MongoDB/PostgreSQL.
• Design and create robust automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring modularity, reusability, and scalability across modules/teams.
• Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on the quality and testability of code.
• Mentor and Provide technical guidance to junior team members and ensure best practices are followed in test automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, from requirement analysis to deployment.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years in test automation with hands-on expertise in Cypress/Playwright, Selenium, Appium
• Frameworks: Proven track record in designing and implementing custom test automation frameworks.
• Languages: Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript and Java.
• Mobile Automation: Experience with Appium for iOS and Android automation.
• API Testing: Proficient in API testing using tools like Rest Assured etc.
• Databases: Experience in working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for database testing and validation.
• CI/CD: Proficiency with Jenkins and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.

Additional Job Description Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience in JMeter, Grafana.
• Familiar with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Node.js etc.
• Experience in enabling in-sprint automation for functional and non-functional testing.
