Job Description
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in automation testing using Selenium and Python. The candidate will be responsible for automating web applications and APIs, ensuring software quality through structured testing processes, and working closely with development teams in an Agile environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Automate testing for web applications and Web APIs
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using opensource tools
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through their lifecycle
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Work closely with developers in Agile/Scrum teams
- Monitor debugging results and analyze root causes of issues
- Continuously improve test processes and automation frameworks
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in software testing
- Minimum 3+ years of handson experience in Automation Testing
- Strong experience with Selenium and Python
- Experience with API testing tools (SoapUI)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools Jenkins
- Handson exposure to Docker
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with whitebox and blackbox testing
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Minimum 2+ automation projects experience
